Happy New Year, everybody! I'm tardy in such well wishes, but better late than never, eh?
First and foremost, I'd like to thank *Wildweasel339 for giving me a year-long premium membership! Sincerely, I am beyond thankful. He's so kind for doing such a thing, and he's a great artist, too! Go check out his awesome work and be amazed!!
You're probably wondering what the title of this journal entry means. Allow me to explain....
Papers: My online newspaper is coming up on its 20th issue and 900th follower and, honestly, I didn't expect it would get this far. Needless to say, I'm beyond flattered. That a little fandom newsletter would become so desirable to read is incredibly sweet to me. If you're reading this and you're a follower of The Unless Press, thank you so very much for your continued support! I sincerely appreciate it... more than you know.
Pin Needles: More like needles. Last year was "The Year of the Once-ler" to many fans. For me, it was also "The Year of Medical Issues". Ha. I'm still dealing with stuff, but I'm believing for a clear rest of the year this year, thank God! Only recently have I been able to get a good night's sleep in months. Let's hope that things only continue to improve. (And I ain't gonna go into the details. I will say that the last half of 2012 was not fun at all and that I do not, in any way, want a repeat of it. Ha.)
Still no job yet, but I'm trying. I'm looking forward to being able to help my family out financially again, as well as the soon-to-come freedom that all of us will receive when my little special needs sister goes into a home for mentally delayed children. (She was supposed to go into a home last week, but no dice. My mom is looking for another place for her now. She'll be out of our hair sometime this year for sure, in any case, hopefully as soon as possible. Heh.)
I hope that you all are having a wonderful New Year so far, and that the rest of 2013 continues to be a happy and blessed one for all of you!
