Nah. No story to go with the scarf. Just drew it for fun.
Aww, gee. Thank you so much!! I'm truly flattered.
All the best to you in working in the industry, too!!
Now for my favorite Olaf quotes :3 (or sayings)
Olaf-"I don't have a skull!......Or bones.."
Olaf-"Hi I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!"
Olaf-"Some people are worth melting for."
"I don't have a skull." *looks down* "Or bones"
about when Kristof said that Anna didn't look bad-
*raises head and looks critically at Kristof* "You paused" *looks at Anna*
Olaf has a pretty unusual snowman design, which I like. The artists gave him a weirdly-shaped head and some fairly unconventional facial features.
Thank you very much!
Yeah, for a snowman, he's pretty unique in design, which is a good thing... for it makes him more distinguishable.
I was really cynical about the movie when I heard about it over the summer and whatnot. A co-worker pointed out that I should give it a chance and that Olaf would probably be an interesting, unique character. And I agree!
By the way, your icon is very cute!
Same here. Originally, it didn't sit well with me that they deviated so much from the story, but they did their own thing and it worked, so I'm not complaining anymore. Ha-ha.
Thank you, by the way!
There's nothing wrong with computer animation. The only negative, really, is that the industry has embraced it to such an extent that traditional animation has been almost entirely forsaken. Individual artists are still doing traditional works, of course, and you still see traditionally animated bits and credits in feature films on occasion (and even those are done digitally most of the time), but in the world of Hollywood and other major studios... you don't see it nearly as much, if at all, anymore. Many traditional artists have lost their jobs or have a really tough time finding work these days because of it, and some have had to just move on. I believe that there needs to be a steady balance between all mediums, traditional, digital, stop-motion, et cetera.
Sorry for the long post there! Heh. I just am very passionate about traditional animation, and I'll continue to stand up for it.
And thanks! Ha-ha. Sorry again for the long post!
Aww. Well, thank you! I do appreciate it.
Heheh. Yeah, I think I'll just grow to like him. Best for me to reserve judgment until I see the film. I hope we both end up enjoying the movie!
