Norma

Earlier today, I drew this absolutely horrendous piece of Once-ler art and actually posted it up on Tumblr. The utter shame and realization of what I'd created after submitting it was so strong that I needed to console myself by drawing another character entirely, so... I took a shot at sketching Norma... and... I kinda like the results, believe it or not.

Norma is Ted's grandmother in Illumination Entertainment's feature film adaptation of The Lorax. Quite a few folks in the Once-ler fandom have paired her up with the Once-ler, whether it be in their early years or their later years. I don't entirely support the ship, but the artwork that has come out of it from many of the artists is absolutely adorable -- just... darling stuff.

I'd never tried drawing Norma at any age until now. The fan art finally got to me. Ha-ha.
